erinescence:

Fannibals, we’ve lost one of our reddit  /r/HannibalTV moderators to a housefire in the early hours of 2/28.  Jarod perished inches from his front door, close but ultimately unable to escape his burning house.

While dedicated to promoting Hannibal and keeping the sub a place we all enjoyed visiting and interacting within, he was not a man of financial means. His family is truly struggling to pay for his funeral while also trying to understand and process this sudden loss of a very young man. (His father lives on disability; funeral will likely be around $9,000.)

Jarod was an avid television fan and also moderated /r/televison, /r/BreakingBad, /r/LOST, /r/TheWalkingDead. /r/Scifi, /r/AmericanHorrorStory, /r/Dexter, /r/Being Human and others.

If you can donate to his funeral fund, it would be greatly appreciated.  If you can share the link on social media or re-blog here, also greatly appreciated.

The fund was set up by a close friend who is in contact with Jarod’s father, who lives on disability.

For those of you who knew him better, his dog did survive as he had been able to find a new home about a week or two ago and the dog had been placed.
