It’s okay Char we don’t mind if you don’t have much hair in certain places. 😉 I am sure Johann doesn’t either. *cough*
“You…you don’t?” He stops glaring at the duck long enough to smile gratefully up. “And Johann, he won’t eith-”
But we don’t get to hear the rest of the thought, because the bath poof comes up to hide his face and he ducks away, back under the pouring spray, turned away from us, words muffled and indiscernible.
That’s insufficient to hide his blush though. The pink it would seem, we note (for observation’s sake), goes all the way down. His Highness’s body, already flushed from the heat of the water, darkening by the minute. And what a lovely body it is.
As we leave him to his bubbles, we see the sponge lowered and the duck raised up again, quietly sung to between the the plinking of drops and the roar of the shower head .
“And if he feels the love tonight…”
The duck lifted, swayed with a little.
“In the way I do.”
He pulls it close, nuzzling it with a sigh, and we duck out of the room silently.
“It’s enough for this restless wanderer.
Just to be with you.”
Oh I’m in tears, Char is to cute for this world
