According to Wikipedia, recipients must have “significantly contributed to the enrichment of the French cultural inheritance” which makes sense for Mads to get since he is an actor and has done french films. I dont know if this is common knowledge I just thought it was cool to know.

This is the end of Beyond Midnight. I’d like to thank everyone for their comments and even just for reading this series.
