Using the books as an excuse doesn’t make sense though. I mean at this point in the book timeline Will shouldn’t even be in it yet and he’s only in ONE book. Book canon dictates that this is when Lecter is free and has the story to himself. So it doesn’t make sense to say “oh Hannibal’s barely in it because they’re following book canon so no one should complain” when they aren’t at all. (I’m not saying they should have to, just your argument seems hypocritical.)

1. So in S3 we are going into Red Dragon territory so he would be there??? you know solving the tooth fairy crimes and all that stuff. Lecter is already in Jail so I think Bryan is um… taking some liberties in terms of how long Hannibal is out and if I remember this correctly. Will isnt planned on being written out at all

2.  That is the argument that i’ve seen, alot of people don’t quite care about other characters (like in terms of developing them??) . I saw one post where someone was mad bc Bryan wanted to go deeper into Dolarhyde in S3 (which I dont understand their argument at all bc thats kind of a big thing)
