- Both are very sweet and young and find trouble with the law and heroin addiction.
- They both also have relational issues with their father.

- Basically they meet at a carnival and Max wins Michael a sock monkey and the fall in love. They get a little flat together and work to support each other. Max is in Construction and Mikey at a little video store.
- Max is Gay and Michael is bisexual.
- They frequent an underground Eastern European Pub as Max is an illegal immigrant from Denmark. Michael is British. Max works under the table.
- Everything is bliss until Max looses his job and while they are okay financially Max becomes aggravated at not being able to support Mike and they butt heads. Max even gets a bit jealous of Mike’s co-worker.
- They take Ectasy together to try and mend their problems and while the glow is nice it’s not a great idea for ex heroin junkies to take E. They soon are arguing again.
- There is an incident with some local boys who attack Mikey after they have a bad fight and Michael is hospitalized. Max blames himself and slips, buying black tar and using while Michael is in a short term coma.
- When Michael recovers Max assures himself it was a one time slip and he won’t go back to junk but soon enough he is using again. When Michael finds out they fight a lot until one night Michael gives in and uses with him. It’s very very bad until it’s so bad they both decide to kick together.
- It lasts a good while until Max slips again and the fighting is so bad Michael knows he has to leave.
- They break up and it destroys both of them. Max turns their flat into a drug den and Michael moves in with his parents. Max ends up homeless and digging through dumpsters to eat. Luckily he’s found by a youth home runner and the older man takes a chance on Max, helping him get off drugs and get his GED.
- Michael gets a GED as well and goes off to Uni.
- They both miss each other desperately but know they can’t be together.
- A few times Michael wants to break down and find Max.
- The night they break up Michael just leaves while Max is sleeping and Max has to hunt him down, drunk and screaming, calling to Mike in front of his parents house.They wont let him in and Mike is being held back by his mum, crying and full of pain.
- Mike ends up living in that youth home, helping homeless teens get a better future and going to NA regularly, he ends up running meetings as he gets older and feels like they are his family and his home.
- Mike becomes a grade school teacher and finds a boyfriend down the line (we’ve discussed it might be a raul esparza character lolololol)
- It’s 20 yesr since they’ve broken up and they are leading separate lives when BAM max sees mike in a grocery store and all the old feelings burst up (or at a party they end up having a mutual friend we can’t decide)
- They fall in love again and are both at really good places that the realtionship flourishes. WE CALL THIS OLDER M&M IT’S AMAZING it’s all I talk about all day they have sort of become OC’s for me and lizzie
